Impressions and perceptions are the prime movers in today's process of understanding; therefore, the manner in which an institution presents and endorses its ideas, concepts, and information will impact the targeted audience, either positively or negatively.  Where time is at a premium, the first impression must generate a positive and lasting impression for the targeted audience.

Given our current economic circumstance and forecasting future trends, our challenge is to be at the fore front in helping to eradicate poverty and illiteracy, which have no regional, racial, ethnic, gender, or topographical barriers. They are a reality and truth unto themselves, and are not altered by political maneuvering or epistemological trends. They are an infinite loop, until the cycle is interrupted through the determined efforts of dedicated educational professionals and community volunteers working collaboratively, within a student centered model, to make a difference in the future of our rural communities.
